We can never be thankful enough, but we can always try.

I started my competition journey in 2008 with many doubts and uncertainties, but also with a goal in mind (becoming a WBFF pro) and a willpower that wouldn't be shook.

The WBFF world championship 2008 was my first stage appearance ever. Thanks to my good friend Lucas Couturier who believed in me, I signed up and took a 3rd place right next to two great fitness models I look up to and respect: Kendall Wood and Michael McFarlane. It was one of the greatest experiences I’ve had. The venue was beautiful, the athletes were well taken care of, the event was well organized but what made it really memorable was the atmosphere created by the people who were there. I’m talking about the athletes, volunteers, judges, photographers, spectators... I want to thank all of you and especially all the friends I’ve made backstage... y'all know who you are :)

The WBFF World championship 2009 was my second round on that stage. I was surprised to see that the event I thought was impossible to match - in terms of athletes/audience attendance, quality and organization - was bigger, better and stronger. I could still feel that good energy from the previous year and of course it’s always a blast meeting old friends and new ones at the shows. Although I injured my shoulder at the beginning of my training for that competition and had to get through many obstacles: physically, financially and emotionally, being there on stage with a line-up of the greatest fitness models in the industry made it all worth it. I want to thank and congratulate all the athletes for bringing their best shape and conditioning to the stage. Rob Riches, Obi Obadike and Wash Candido y’all inspired the rest of us to train harder and be better so... thank you guys for that :)

Finally, my 3rd round on the WBFF stage was at the WBFF Quebec championship on Saturday June 19th 2010. It wasn’t the world championship but WOW! The venue was absolutely gorgeous. The casino du Lac Leamy had a great view on the Lake, great lighting on stage, very chic and intimate table setup for the audience and an amazing staff. Once again I wasn’t disappointed with Paul and Allison Dillett for getting a top notch venue.

The level of conditioning the top 5 athletes brought was comparable to a world championship and made me feel bad for the judging panel. So... thank you judges for your hard work :)

Congrats to Ryan Jean Baptiste, Patrick Jolicoeur and Lucas Couturier for placing in the top 3 and winning their pro card. The battle for the 1st place was so close that even with a 4th place I was awarded a pro card. That’s right! I finally achieved that first goal of mine and couldn’t be happier. So I would like to thank Paul and Allison Dillett for welcoming me as a WBFF pro and thanks to my family and friends who supported me every steps of this journey and my coach Dave Ruel for making sure I was as ripped as possible for every shows I’ve done. Many blessings to every single one of you!

Now let’s do it again! Time to work harder than ever, sky is not the limit... On to the next challenge: WBFF world championship 2010 Pro division.

See you all there, Go WBFF!!!
